Happy Healthy You (HHU) is a wrap-around service offering physical, mental and personal well-being in the heart of the inner-city area of Bradford, offering low cost/free 18 sessions/week. HHU has worked with over 25 inner-city organisations and 50 partners since starting. Happy Healthy You is all about inspiring and empowering people to take control of their own personal well-being and make this an enduring habit, using the tools and techniques they have learnt alongside HHU. To finish with a quote about HHU from Professor Chris Bentley, 'It is real support for real people in the here and now. It is striking how much is being done with so relatively little financial support. The resource is much more about the commitment and energy of a few dynamic community connectors reaching out with their skills’.
