Founder of The Next Chosen Generation CIC (TNCG), Yetunde Adeshile is an advocate for the development of young people, women’s empowerment, equality, diversity, and inclusion. Yetunde has been actively involved in community engagement for decades. Through TNCG, Yetunde has supported underprivileged young people and their families, through growth transitions and challenging times, so they can attain successful and positive life outcomes. In May 2021, Yetunde was elected as a councillor for Vange, further progressing to be appointed as Deputy Mayor (DM) in May 2022 making history by becoming the first black female DM for Basildon Borough Council. Hailed as a ‘leader’ by many, Yetunde uses her life experiences and achievements to lift others up. Yetunde is also pastor of RCCG Ambassadors for Liberty, board member of trustees at the Association for Project Management, and co-chair at Basildon Side By Side.
