Gill Leno is the PSHE Lead and EDI advanced practitioner at Queen Alexandra College, a specialist college for young people aged 16-25 with a wide range of complex needs and disabilities. Gill writes and delivers specialist, inclusive and accessible sex and relationships education (including gender, sexuality and body education) for people with learning, physical and sensory disabilities and autism spectrum conditions. She also provides training for other professionals who want to support or deliver this work, and provides support to parents too. Last year Gill spoke at TEDxBrum about the importance of recognising that we all have equal sex and relationships rights and responsibilities, and has recently written a chapter for the new Sexuality and Learning Disabilities Handbook. Gill is doing a brilliant job in challenging people to face their discomfort with sensitive issues and championing sexual citizenship for everyone.
