COMMUNITY ORGANISATION AWARD FOR RACE, RELIGION & FAITH –
Founded in 2011, KeshetUK has become the sole organisation that works across the Jewish community to deliver training to ensure the inclusion of LGBT+ people and their families in all areas of Jewish life in the UK. They work with schools, synagogues, youth organisations, universities, other community organisations and individuals to broaden LGBT+ Jewish inclusion. This brilliant organisation has been very active since its inception, carrying out a number of education and training initiatives, including between September 2016 to August 2017 working directly with over 1,500 young people in Jewish schools through their workshops and assemblies, delivering inclusion training for rabbis and senior leadership at multiple synagogues and facilitating interactions between Orthodox rabbis and Parents of Jewish LGBT+ people.
