Naomi Grant is a writer, filmmaker, producer and content creator. In 2018, she won the Young Creative Entrepreneur Prize by The Barbican and The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has been nominated for a Positive Youth Award for upcoming filmmaker, and Positive Role Model award at the National Diversity Awards. Her debut documentary was released in February 2017: 50 Shades of Melanin and has been aired on TV, with an audience of over a million people. With her recent film release, Future First, she has toured around the UK premiering her film at different festivals and speaking as a panellist at events. She has spoken at the Making London Conference, alongside creatives from Adidas, Dazed and Google. Her work has been featured on Essence, The Metro, Yahoo, Dazed, Afropunk, gal-dem, Un-ruly, The Voice, The British Blacklist and Worldstar.
