Kelly Given has dedicated her life since to third sector leadership, executive support and world-leading equality and human rights policy delivery. From consulting on United Nations gender policy to providing high-level briefing and support to the First Minister of Scotland, she has been unrelenting in in her devotion to influence structural change. A fierce advocate for equality, Kelly’s passion for disability justice stems from her own personal journey to diagnosis as a neurodiverse woman, undiagnosed until adulthood. Kelly, who represented the National Alliance of Women’s Organisations at the United Nations Commission on the status of women this year, is also on the board of SWAN Scotland – which is dedicated to advocacy and support for autistic women and girls. Kelly was named on the Disability Power 100 List 2021 as one of the 100 most influential disabled people in Britain.
