Siena is a 15-year old student who is autistic, dyslexic and dyspraxic. She is passionate about advocating for diversity and inclusion, in particular the social and educational inclusion of students with autism and learning disabilities. Noticing that all online information and advice was directed at parents, at 13 years old Siena created www.QLMentoring.com, to mentor and support children with autism and learning differences. She designed her website to be fun and child-friendly and publishes articles on subjects such as myths about girls with autism. In addition, Siena works as a peer outreach worker for the Mayor of London, a group of young people who shape and influence the Mayor’s policies, strategies and services that impact young people living in London. The Diana Award National Anti-bullying Youth Board Member also represents the voices of over 24,000 anti-bullying ambassadors across the UK.
