Sahir has been a cornerstone of Liverpool’s LGBTQ+ and HIV support network for over 40 years. As the city’s oldest charity of its kind, we provide essential services to people living with and affected by HIV, alongside vital support for LGBTQ+ communities across the Liverpool City Region.
From one-to-one support and peer-led services to advocacy, awareness, and sexual health awareness, Sahir is dedicated to breaking down stigma and ensuring no one is left behind.
But our work is far from over. As we look to the future, Sahir is expanding its reach, developing new services, and strengthening our commitment to inclusion and equality. To achieve this, we need the support of our community and allies more than ever. Together, we can build a future where everyone has access to the care, respect, and opportunities they deserve.
Being nominated for the National Diversity Awards is an honour and a recognition of the incredible impact of our staff, volunteers, and supporters. With your help, Sahir will continue to grow, evolve, and change lives.
