Director of Equality and Diversity UK Ltd, Alyson Malach is a forward thinking, highly creative individual within the field of equality and inclusion, boasting over 25 years of commitment to the race and equality, diversity and inclusion agenda. Prior to setting up Equality and Diversity UK, Alyson was the Head of Lifelong Learning Education in Manchester, responsible for community learning, prison education and adult and community-based learning. Appointed as one of Manchester City Councils first black managers in 2001, Alyson worked closely with prison services, police, social services and voluntary and community organisations to lead education and social issues across the diverse communities of Manchester. In addition to being one of 24 members of The Greater Manchester Race Equality Panel, Alyson is also the Chair of Trustees at Cartwheel Arts and the Chair of Governors at Chesham Primary School.
