Anna Kennedy OBE a national Ambassador is 100% committed to helping autistic individuals. She has achieved so much in the last 22 years. She re-mortgaged her own house to set up a school for autistic children after her two autistic sons were turned away from mainstream education. In 1999 Hillingdon Manor School opened its doors to 19 pupils. The school is one of the largest schools of its kind for children on the autism spectrum in Europe. Anna has co-founded other children/ adult services including a vocational college and UK Autism charity AnnaKennedyonline. Anna constantly campaigns for children and adults to receive a safe, structured and highly effective education whether at school or college. Her UK Projects such as Autism's got Talent, Give us a Break Antibullying campaign and Autism Hero Awards have had a tremendous impact.
