Ashley Walters is a British actor who is well known for his fine roles in some of the UK’s grittiest dramas. He has been a big character on both TV and film screens, and is also a talented rapper. Ashley’s landmark role was as Dushane in Channel 4’s acclaimed four part drama Top Boy in October 2011 which was later picked up by Netflix with season 5 returning in 2023. Last year, Ashley was among a host of famous faces who appeared in a series of portraits in a campaign promoting men’s mental and physical health for Movember. Earlier this year, Ashley was joined by stars including Idris Elba and AJ Tracey to support Grenfell Tower in a charity single to mark five years since the tragedy. The track titled West Side Story: A Grenfell Tribute, produced by British DJ Toddla T, features artists who grew up in the areas surrounding the tower.
