Colourful Beginnings is a UK charity supporting families with premature and sick babies in hospitals and in the community. They share NICU experiences across their social media platforms to bring hope in difficult situations. Colourful Beginnings was founded on the 17th of November, 2016 by Ola Adegbenro, after experiencing two premature births herself and realising that there was very little support for families with premature babies. Their entire purpose is to bring love, hope and support to families of premature and sick babies in NICU and in the community, as the journey does not end after discharge from NICU. This incredible organisation created NICU care packages to help families who are not adequately prepared for the arrival of their premature babies for obvious reasons. These care packages are free, and available throughout the UK to everyone with a baby in the NICU.
