Elect Her is a tiny but mighty non-partisan organisation working to motivate, support and equip women in all their diversity to stand for political office in Britain. They demystify politics and inspire, empower and encourage women into politics by providing free practical, hands-on training and support designed for every stage of a woman’s journey into politics. All of their free self-led learning content is available for women online so they can fit it into their busy lives. Alongside their learning resources and workshops, Elect Her provide opportunities for women to build supportive support networks with women across the political spectrum through Peer Support Circles. Over 5000 women have attended Elect Her workshops to date, and their Scotland’s Women Stand event saw 500 women inhabit the Scottish Parliament for the day to learn about how to get into politics.
