An LGBTQ+ ambassador, fighting for the rights and acceptance of the trans community both locally and nationally, Jaide’s back story is both touching and inspirational. Growing up in Burnley, Jaide struggled with her sexuality and gender, spending 48 years coming to terms with and accepting her true authentic self. Now embracing her authenticity, Jaide is a pillar of support for many across the LGBT community, hosting various live shows touching on vital topics such as Mental Health, Trans Day of Remembrance and Trans Day of Visibility. A beacon for countless individuals, Jaide’s story was told as part of Pride Blackpool 2021, and Virtual Pride Blackpool, with her efforts being recognised with a Blackpool Pride Community Award. Jaide has recently become a volunteer at a local Trans female support group, helping others with transgender issues and their transitions.
