Hailing from Birmingham, Lady Leshurr is well known for her fiery freestyles and explosive live performances with witty lyrics. She launched her ‘Queen’s Speech’ series in 2015 which went viral racking up over 200 million YouTube views. In 2020, Lady Leshurr was honoured by the Queen who awarded her with a BEM medal for her Coronavirus inspired song ‘Quarantine Speech’ of which proceeds were donated to the NHS. Last year saw Leshurr appear as a contestant on ‘Dancing on Ice’, making it all the way to the final. She quickly went on to appear in ‘The Celebrity Circle’ and subsequently winning. Lady Leshurr is a fierce advocate for mental health and has been working with the MIND charity to raise greater awareness of the problems that can affect all, as well as speaking out about her own experiences with anxiety and depression.
