Ramadan Tent Project (RTP) is an award winning non-profit organisation founded in 2013 with a mission of bringing communities together to better understand each other. They are the organisers of the UK’s first annual Ramadan Festival and the largest community and cultural event in Ramadan, Open Iftar. The Ramadan Festival is a collection of artistic, cultural, intellectual, and creative activities and programmes especially curated and designed by Ramadan Tent Project to have something for everyone. Whether that be observing Ramadan for the first time, wanting to meet people breaking their fast and share a meal, or immersing yourself in the community spirit. The annual Ramadan Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year and is proud to represent a pillar of Britain’s rich cultural ecology. This amazing project has connected over 350,000 people and worked with over 300 organisations.
