2022 Shortlisted Nominee

Positive Role Model Award: Disability

Diagnosed with a rare chromosomal anomaly causing low muscle tone and speech problems, doctors gave Sebbie Hall a bleak prognosis, believing he would never walk, talk or sit up. Sebbie proved them wrong and found his superpower in the form of kindness. Lichfield based Sebbie, has completed random acts of kindness every day for over 2 years, making over 2,000 strangers smile. Raising £44,000, Seb has donated toys, clothes, food and his time to care homes for vulnerable children, worked in food banks, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, purchased adapted devices for over 500 families, founded mixed-ability rugby and football teams, communication arts hubs, computer suites for vocational training and The Sebbie Hall Kindness Foundation. This incredible young man is committed to spreading kindness and to funding projects championing inclusion for disabled young people to live the same fulfilled lives as others.
