Smithswood Access to Services and Support (SASS) are a local CIC that supports all community members. This incredible organisation run youth clubs 3 evenings a week for over 100 young people aged 9-16, offering sports, arts and crafts, and interactive games. They also mentor young people who are NEET, need behaviour support, or bereavement support. SASS support families experiencing difficulties within school and have assisted parents to obtain EHC plans for young people. They even offer a drop-off /collection service to school for young people experiencing issues in getting to school, and provide outreach work in the local community, offering young people on the streets support and advice. In addition, SASS support local community police officers in making their streets a safe place to be and offer community events for all residents to come along and participate, engage and have fun.
