The Three Hijabis is an anti-racist platform created by three British Muslim women football fans who wear the hijab, Amna Abdullatif, Shaista Aziz and Huda Jawad. They created an anti-racist movement with over 1.2 + Million people through telling their stories connected to the beautiful game. Their viral petition to ban racists from football reached over 1 million people in 48 hours and received intense media attention, and a commitment from the prime minister to tackle racism in football. The trio held advocacy meetings with the Football Association as well as the Premier League. They are committed to tackling gender-based violence within the game. Along with Level Up and End Violence Against Women Coalition (EVAW)) their open letter to the Premier League and FA called on both to tackle gender based violence and led to a campaign win to make consent training mandatory for all Premier League players and staff.
