Bushra is a respected community and charity sector leader, named in the fifteen most inspiring leaders to look out for on #IWD2022 and voted a top ten influential fundraiser by Civil Society’s Fundraising magazine.
She is a trustee of Lloyds Bank Foundation and sits on many other national boards and Forums, including the National Council of Women of GB. Bushra founded West Croydon Voice, after her family business was destroyed in the 2011 Riots, to successfully fight for millions of pounds of compensation for the victims. As a business woman, campaigner and activist, she brings over 30 years of experience to a wide range of cross sector, cross cultural networks, with a strong background in cultural awareness training. Bushra is a recognised thought leader and as such has recorded podcasts, spoken at national conferences, judged awards and hosted national events.
