Community Organisation Award: Disability
Diversity and Ability (D&A) is a multi-award-winning social enterprise led by and for disabled people. With 79% of their team self-identifying as disabled and/or neurodiverse, everything they do is underpinned by a recognition that lived experience brings strength and value to our society. D&A drives intersectional disability and neurodiversity inclusion within society through a multi-faceted approach. They support education institutions, workplaces and international bodies through bespoke training programmes, consultancy and one-to-one support. Their social justice work facilitates societal change, driving policy and legislation. This amazing organisation has supported over 100,000 disabled and neurodiverse individuals since its inception in 2011.
