An experienced teacher of RE and a D&I Lead at a Catholic secondary school, George White is an openly trans and Catholic educator, holding a BA in Philosophy and Theology, an MA in Global Ethics and Human Values and a Secondary PGCE in Religious Studies. With a mission to highlight the importance of making Catholic schools more inclusive, George has appeared on national and regional news and has delivered many engaging conferences on LGBT+ inclusion to the NEU as an LGBT+ rep for the East Midlands, Schools Inclusion Alliance and ASCL. He is currently a Trustee and Designated Safeguarding Lead for Million Minutes – a Catholic Charity empowering the voices of young people, and sits on the committee of Quest, leading on Education and providing support for LGBTI Catholics and their allies. George is tireless in his attitude to promoting respect and acceptance of all people, no matter their background.
