Coming out as the world’s first Transgender Football Referee in 2018, Lucy has continually pushed the boundaries for inclusion of trans and non-binary individuals in football and sport in general. Founder of Trans Radio UK, the world’s only trans radio station and TRUK Listens a mental health helpline, Lucy founded TRUK United in 2021, a fully inclusive football team who have since gone on to make history by fielding the first ever team to consist solely of trans women and the first team to consist solely of Transgender Masc people. TRUK United also produced the first ever football kits to be based solely on the non-binary and intersex flags. TRUK United have gone on to win the LGBTQ+ Sports Team of the Year and the Football v Homophobia Grassroots team of the Year Award.
