Positive Role Model Award: Disability
Chair of the Premier League Disability Advisory Group, Ted Morris is relentless in his pursuit to bringing equality and fairness to disabled football supporters. A full-time wheelchair user, Ted was left facing obstacles when attempting to follow and support his football team and it was through his experiences that he was inspired to make a difference. Joining the Liverpool Disabled Supporters Association (LDSA), Ted worked hard to make equality and fairness a reality, leading the LDSA in providing once in a lifetime experiences, including a ‘Walk On’ experience for disabled supporters as well as delivering food parcels, hosting virtual party nights, running a christmas toy campaign and allowing junior members to experience hospitality at Anfield free of charge. A champion for disability rights, Ted works tirelessly to enhance the lives of disabled people, putting disabled supporters at the forefront of all that he does.
