You Can is a small charity based in Salford who provide provisions for young people with additional needs aged 10-24years. Through a mixture of 5 regular weekly youth clubs in various Salford locations, holiday activities, trips and residentials, their aim is to support members to become as independent as they can be. They do this by teaching them life skills through various mediums such as travel training, cooking and money management, in addition to enrolling them into the Duke of Edinburgh programme. They also support members to improve their overall health and wellbeing through active provisions such as sports and having regular discussions around mental health, physical health, friendships and hygiene. As one of the small few SEND groups in Salford, this amazing club ensure that sessions are fully inclusive to enable anyone with a disability and/or learning difficulty access to provisions.
