Carmen Wiltshire is the CEO and visionary behind the Karoy Foundation. At 69, Carmen and her husband Roy, prominent Windrush pioneers, established the foundation in 2009. It builds on their six decades of tireless humanitarian service, dedicated to driving social change and fostering socioeconomic sustainability. They lead aid projects for vulnerable communities in Ghana, Jamaica, and the UK. Initiatives include a community college for adults in London, building a school and clean water borehole projects in Ghana, and providing breakfast and educational resources for underprivileged children in Jamaica. They also organize fundraising events in the UK to support their objectives. Now 84 and 80 respectively, their global impact and leadership profoundly enhance the physical, social, and mental well-being of countless individuals. By overcoming personal adversity, supporting the educational and welfare needs of disadvantaged children and communities is their life’s mission.
