ADHD Babes2025 Shortlisted Nominee
Community Organisation Award: Gender

ADHD Babes is a not-for-profit, Black-led community group created by and for Black Women and Black non-binary people with ADHD. Founded in 2020, it is the only UK-based organisation specifically supporting this community. ADHD Babes offers joy-centred, safer spaces where members can explore their neurodivergence, build peer networks, and thrive. Rooted in disability justice, Ubuntu, and intersectionality, all programmes are designed and delivered by people with lived experience. The organisation provides support groups, creative wellbeing sessions, personalised mental health support, and leadership development. ADHD Babes also partners with organisations such as the NHS and delivers training to workplaces and institutions. With over 6,000 sign-ups and 300 active members, the group continues to challenge exclusion and stigma while championing cultural awareness and systemic change. ADHD Babes is transforming how ADHD is seen, supported, and celebrated within marginalised communities.
