2025 Shortlisted Nominee
Positive Role Model Award: Gender
Holly is a gender equality advocate dedicated to breaking the stigma and injustice around women’s health and rights. Over five years, she has driven change through grassroots activism, national legal reform, and international policy. In 2024, Holly became the first Youth Adviser to the UK Government at the UN Commission on Population and Development, championing adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). She played a key role in Plan International UK’s Crime Not Compliment campaign, which criminalised public sexual harassment in England and Wales. Beyond policy, Holly founded the Menstrual Health Project’s Youth Board and co-created FlowFest, a youth-led menstrual wellbeing festival. She has delivered SRHR education to hundreds of young people in the UK and Ghana. Holly’s work centres on empowering girls to lead and make decisions about their bodies and futures, lifting others as she climbs.
