In 1976, she embraced her gender identity, becoming one of the UK’s early visible voices for trans rights. Her career spans pivotal roles in the Civil Service, Britvic, and Britishvolt, where she shaped inclusive policy, championed LGBTQ+ representation, and embedded equity into practice. Jacqui led the creation of the first cross-government trans inclusion standard and has mentored countless emerging leaders. Her contributions have been recognised with the British LGBT Award for Diversity Champion, the Prime Minister’s Points of Light Award, and the British Empire Medal. Renowned for bridge-building, quiet leadership, and compassion, Jacqui believes inclusion is achieved through empathy and dialogue.
