Marsha is an award-winning advocate, neurodiversity consultant, and Founder & CEO of Black SEN Mamas, a pioneering charity supporting Black mothers raising children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Drawing on her lived experience as an autistic mother of three neurodivergent daughters and her academic expertise in psychology and behavioural therapy, Marsha leads a national movement promoting equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive support. Since 2021, Black SEN Mamas has empowered over 4,000 families through advocacy, training, and mental health initiatives like the groundbreaking Mindful Mamas programme. Marsha is a sought-after speaker, policy advisor, and consultant, advocating for intersectional approaches to SEND reform. Her work challenges systemic barriers and amplifies marginalised voices, ensuring that Black mothers are heard, supported, and empowered. Marsha’s leadership is marked by compassion, collaboration, and a relentless commitment to transforming the SEND landscape across the UK.
