Mohammad Erfan Sharifi, a Technology Degree Apprentice at HSBC, is a passionate advocate for refugees. Born in war-torn Afghanistan, he overcame dyslexia, homelessness, and rebuilding life in a new country, graduating with distinction. He founded DRYV, a social enterprise supporting refugees through education, employment, digital skills, and mental health programmes, connecting them with mentorship and opportunities. As Community Outreach Ambassador at HSBC, he promotes inclusive hiring and supports people from lower socio-economic backgrounds. Recognised globally as a Goodwill and Youth Ambassador, Erfan raises awareness of refugee challenges, women’s rights, and inclusive education, driving systemic change. His mission is to ensure no one feels invisible and everyone can thrive. For him, this work is more than a career; it’s about building hope, inclusion, and opportunity for those often overlooked, creating a world where every person’s potential is valued and celebrated.
