Patrick is the Executive Clinical Director and Head of NHS Talking Therapies at Living Well UK and a leading figure in mental health, equality, and community transformation. From his beginnings as a migrant and housing support worker, Patrick has risen through academic and professional ranks to become a respected psychotherapist, NHS clinical supervisor, and champion of culturally informed care. He is the founder of Our Roots CIC and Foundation, which grew from a £1 deposit to a £2.5 million organisation employing 60 staff and supporting over 6,000 people annually. Patrick's initiatives focus on empowering BAME and disadvantaged communities through mental health support, education, and social advocacy. A published author, trainer, and playwright, Patrick’s works, like Glad Made Mad, promote resilience, self-determination, and justice. His leadership continues to inspire systemic change and uplift lives across Birmingham and beyond.
