RAWD2025 Shortlisted Nominee
Community Organisation Award: Disability

RAWD (Random Acts of Wildness Disability) is a pioneering disability arts charity based in the North West, dedicated to enabling access to life through creativity. From weekly sessions in Liverpool, Chester, and Ellesmere Port to artist-led performances and outreach projects, RAWD empowers disabled people to build confidence, develop skills, and thrive in the arts and beyond. Their co-produced programmes, spanning theatre, podcasting, wellness, and training, centre lived experience, challenge stereotypes, and create platforms for expression and leadership. Through initiatives like the Facilitator Training Programme and “Are Boards Boring?”, RAWD tackles under-representation in creative and decision-making spaces, creating pathways into employment and influence. Now entering a new chapter as a charity, RAWD continues to build inclusive communities where disabled people lead, create, and shape the future. RAWD doesn’t just make art, it makes change.
