Founded in 2009, The Amos Bursary exists to empower talented young people of African and Caribbean heritage from underrepresented backgrounds to achieve their fullest potential. Our transformative five-year programme, beginning in Year 12, combines academic support, leadership development, mentorship, and cultural enrichment. With a thriving community of 1,235 students, 378 mentors, and alumni in 7 7+ organisations across 16 sectors, we are building a powerful network of changemakers. Initiatives like Amos Voices equip students to challenge stereotypes, rewrite narratives, and lead with confidence. By breaking barriers and championing excellence, The Amos Bursary is shaping the leaders of tomorrow—prepared to excel personally, professionally, and globally.
