Tumi Sotire, known as The Black Dyspraxic, is a multi-award-winning international speaker, advocate, and Health Economist at Newcastle University. Diagnosed with Dyspraxia at age four, Tumi uses his lived experience as a British-born Nigerian to champion neurodiversity and intersectional inclusion.. He founded The Black Dyspraxic to raise awareness and drive systemic change. Tumi was named Scope's Social Media Influencer of the year,  recognising his authentic voice in shaping inclusive conservations around the intersectionality of race, neurodiversity and faith. Tumi serves on advisory boards, including Birkbeck University’s Centre for Neurodiversity and the Genius Within Awards, where he has been a judge for four years. An accredited Clean Language Coach, he empowers neurodivergent professionals to thrive. His work spans global talks at Sony, IBM, and Bank of America. With over 15 years’ experience, Tumi bridges research, lived experience, and activism to advance equitable opportunities and challenge barriers.
