Amjid Khazir is the Founder of Media Cultured, a North East social enterprise promoting social cohesion, intercultural understanding and anti-hate education. Since beginning this work voluntarily in 2004, he has reached nearly 150,000 people through programmes with schools, universities, police, faith communities and sport, tackling Islamophobia, antisemitism, racism, extremism and misinformation. His work has featured on the BBC, ITV, Sky Sports News and LBC. He has worked alongside the Premier League and the United Nations, and visited the USA by invitation from the Obama administration.
