Community Organisation Award: Gender
Autistic Girls Network is a neurodivergent‑led national charity supporting autistic and otherwise neurodivergent girls, women and non‑binary people, and campaigning for earlier recognition and support. Since 2017, AGN has grown into a 36,000‑member online community, alongside 20 face‑to‑face groups across England and Wales, mentoring programmes, peer support and specialist training for schools, corporates and health services. In 2025, AGN launched The Haven, a nonprofit online school for neurodivergent girls who are excluded or unsupported by mainstream education. Founded by Cathy, a neurodivergent parent and author of Nurturing Your Autistic Young Person, AGN empowers its community through connection, advocacy and co‑produced, lived‑experience‑led support.
