Communities Inc is a Nottingham‑based organisation working at the forefront of tackling hate, promoting inclusion and strengthening community cohesion. Founded in 2011, it delivers nationally recognised programmes addressing racism, misogyny, hate crime and everyday discrimination, including the pioneering bystander intervention initiatives Stand By Me, Stand By Her and Microaggressions Matter. Rooted in lived experience and community voice, Communities Inc equips people with the confidence and practical tools to safely challenge harmful behaviour and support others. Its work spans education, training and grassroots engagement, influencing national practice, shaping culture change and building safer, more connected communities across the UK and beyond.
