Positive Role Model Award: LGBT
Daniel May is the Editor and Director of GNIMAG, Northern Ireland’s only LGBTQIA+ publication, where he is now in his 11th year. Under his leadership, the magazine has grown into a trusted platform reaching more than 90,000 people each month, with Issue 76 set for release this September. Daniel leads the annual GNIMAG Awards, which celebrate individuals, organisations and businesses championing equality and inclusion. This November marks the 10th anniversary of the awards, which have raised more than £50,000 for The Rainbow Project. Alongside his publishing work, Daniel is an approved foster carer and remains committed to creating a more inclusive, visible and supportive society for LGBTQIA+ people.
