Dr. Ray Kendall‑Corry is an openly gay health and social care leader whose 34‑year career has been shaped by resilience, equality and unwavering commitment to vulnerable people. Coming out during Section 28 and the AIDS crisis, he channelled lived experience into decades of advocacy, culture change and LGBTQIA+ inclusion. After 22 years with Creative Support, Ray progressed from frontline workforce development to senior leadership, championing anti‑discriminatory practice, queer representation and neurodiverse recruitment. His doctorate on effective care practice informs workforce development nationally. Known for compassion, consistency and transformative mentorship, Ray has empowered diverse teams, improved care standards and become a role model for inclusive leadership.
