Energy Systems Catapult is an independent innovation centre set up to accelerate the UK’s transition to cleaner energy. It works with government, industry and innovators to test new technologies, business models and policies that can decarbonise heat, power and transport. The organisation champions diversity and inclusion in the energy sector, recognising that complex challenges require a wide range of perspectives and lived experiences. Through inclusive recruitment, early career programmes and collaboration with community organisations, Energy Systems Catapult supports underrepresented groups to enter and progress within green industries. Its work helps ensure the benefits of clean energy innovation are shared more equitably.
