Community Organisation Award: Disability
Every Body Queer is a community‑led initiative creating fully accessible events for and by LGBTQ+ disabled people. Founded to address the lack of inclusive queer spaces and the absence of queer visibility within disability communities, it provides environments where people can meet, connect and build supportive friendships without barriers. Every Body Queer designs events with comprehensive accessibility in mind, from physical access for mobility‑impaired attendees to sensory‑friendly and neurodivergent‑inclusive settings. In just 18 months, it has delivered sold‑out Pride events, parties, meet‑ups and educational panels, empowering attendees and fostering a growing, diverse community where disabled LGBTQ+ people can relax, belong and thrive.
