Freedom Charity, founded by Aneeta Prem MBE in 2009, is a national safeguarding charity protecting children, young people and vulnerable adults from forced marriage, female genital mutilation, dishonour abuse and coercive control. Its work is practical and preventative: education, training, public awareness, a 24/7 helpline and safeguarding app to help families, schools and professionals spot risk early and act safely. More than 100,000 copies of But It’s Not Fair and Cut Flowers have been donated to schools and communities, giving young people clear language to talk about consent, coercion, dignity and safety. Freedom exists so people can live with protection, choice and freedom.
