Hair & Care CIC is a Hackney‑based non‑profit founded in 2019 by award‑winning session hairstylist Anna Cofone, dedicated to empowering blind and low‑vision women and girls through accessible hair‑care education, self‑care workshops and confidence‑building support. Inspired by her lived experience growing up with a blind parent, Anna created Hair & Care to address the exclusion of sight‑loss communities from the beauty industry. The organisation has supported over 600 participants through practical skills training, online and in‑person workshops, and inclusive community events. Hair & Care also leads accessibility work at Fashion Week, making nine shows accessible and championing representation, including supporting the first blind model to walk at Copenhagen Fashion Week.
