Mary’s Charity is a national grassroots organisation supporting vulnerable children, young people and families affected by serious youth violence, trauma, exclusion, exploitation, poverty and mental health challenges. Working directly in schools, alternative provisions, youth centres, prisons, homes and communities, the charity provides trusted, long‑term support through mentoring, youth intervention, therapeutic work, emotional resilience programmes and crisis response. Staff operate an on‑call system, often supporting young people during violent incidents, missing episodes and safeguarding emergencies. Built on lived experience, with 75% of staff once supported by the charity themselves, Mary’s Charity empowers young people to stay safe, heal and build positive futures.
