Community Organisation Award: Gender
Men’s Porch CIC is a purpose‑driven organisation empowering men and teenage boys to become emotionally intelligent, socially responsible and active partners in gender equality. Founded by Tope Dada, whose background in psychology and Peace, Conflict and Development informs its approach, the organisation delivers programmes on mental health, responsible fatherhood, identity, relationships and emotional awareness. Through workshops, mentorship, community conversations and public engagement, Men’s Porch creates safe spaces for men to challenge harmful stereotypes, strengthen family dynamics and support respectful relationships. Tope’s collaborative, advocacy‑led work engages diverse communities across the UK and beyond, demonstrating that gender equality is achieved not only by supporting women, but by equipping men to champion it.
