Community Organisation Award: Multi-Strand
Nore Academy and Estuary Academy Island are part of the Alternative Learning Trust, working together on the Isle of Sheppey to provide high‑quality, inclusive education for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and those requiring alternative provision. Nore Academy is the island’s first SEND Free School Academy, offering purpose‑built facilities and a therapeutic, personalised curriculum for pupils with SEMH and ASC. Estuary Academy Island delivers nurturing alternative provision and outreach that stabilises learning and supports reintegration. Guided by values of community, love, flourish and social justice, both schools create safe, inspiring environments where young people rebuild confidence, feel a sense of belonging, and move towards positive futures.
