Sajda Shah MBE is a British Muslim public service leader, Magistrate and systems strategist with over three decades’ experience across local and central government, justice, healthcare, national security, education and the humanitarian sector. Her work centres on bridging communities and institutions, ensuring lived experience informs policy and leadership. Sajda has led major cohesion and early‑intervention programmes, including Waltham Forest’s Connecting Communities, engaging over 10,000 residents and 1,000 volunteers. She has served nearly 20 years as a Magistrate, contributed nationally through the Home Office and Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and strengthened global humanitarian governance at Muslim Aid. Her leadership is grounded in dignity, fairness and belonging.
