Liverpool Lighthouse is a Black‑led arts and community centre in North Liverpool, one of England’s highest‑deprivation areas, using creativity to drive inclusion, equity and wellbeing. Home to the National Gospel Music Centre and the award‑winning Creative Influencers programme, it supports people experiencing food poverty, homelessness, addiction, disability, mental health challenges, and refugee or asylum‑seeking status. Liverpool Lighthouse equips and platforms marginalised communities through creative leadership, cultural participation and lived‑experience advocacy, while developing gospel music as a recognised UK artform. Alongside national‑impact programmes, it remains rooted in local need, delivering open‑access creative wellbeing activities, youth literacy projects and artist development for underrepresented groups.
