Alice McSweeney is a Neurodivergent Advocate, Coach, Author and public speaker, who runs the business and social media pages Neurodiverse Journeys.
The past year Alice has:
• Created “Gabby’s Glimmers An affirming story of an autistic kid and their favourite food” alongside Co-authors Laura Hellfeld Neurodivergent Nurse, Scott Nelson (Autistically Scott) and Abby Lastowski (Actually Owltistic).
• Began public speaking through their personal and professional experiences on topics like “Positive Autistic Identity & Culture”, Autistic Burnout and The Double Empathy problem.
• Continuing to do voluntary work, particularly meetings with HCRG around inputting neuro-affirming information and ND experiences into the work they do and choices made.
• Started working at GROVE Neurodivergent Mentoring and Education as a Group Mentor.
• Created Ebook formats for all three Neuro-affirming Children’s Books and has had two books free to download for the week.
• Worked at Autistic Revolution as a Co-guide for the Autistic retreat section and fundraised for physical copies of the magazine.
